The soybean oil production process is different from different soybean oil processing technology. Nowadays, the widely used soybean oil processing technology in soybean oil processing plant mainly includes mechanical pressing method and solvent extraction method. 1. Mechanical Pressing Method

Soybean oil processing that adopts mechanical pressing method is more suitable for mini scale, small scale and medium scale soybean oil processing plant. The main process includes soybean pretreatment, soybean oil pressing and soybean oil refinery. 

2. Solvent Extraction Method

Soybean oil processing that adopts solvent extraction method is more suitable for medium scale and large scale soybean oil processing plant. The main process includes soybean pretreatment, soybean oil prepressing, solvent extraction and soybean oil refinery.

3. Soybean Pretreatment

This process is to remove impurity, regulate moisture and temperature, break soybean into small particles to change molecular structure, etc. Pretreatment standard is important for the following soybean oil pressing or solvent extraction process, which will influence the final soybean oil. 

4. Soybean Oil Extraction

Soybean oil pressing is mechanical method to extract oil by pressing. Soybean oil extraction machine is chemical method to extract oil with solvent, and after extracted, the oil residue rate will be only around 1%, which is suitable for the low oil content rate seeds.

5. Soybean Oil Refinery 

This process is to refine the crude soybean oil, get rid of the deleterious impurity, then get the high quality edible oil. According to different automation, soybean oil refinery is divided into batch refining, semi-continuous refining, continuous refining.
